Today’s official opening was a great success, the weather was delightful and friends and family from Exmouth town and afar supported us warmly.
A few words from our club President Mr Ray Mallet, to sum up the day…

“Just got home after what must count as one of the most pleasurable days in my Rowing life. I would ask that you pass my warmest thanks and congratulations to the whole club for their magnificent effort today. You all presented yourself in the best possible way and the whole day went off with such enthusiasm from all concerned, from the Mayor Cllr Bill Nash, Hugo Swire MP, The Town Crier, The Musicians, the many members and friends manning the refreshments and everyone that must have spent many waking hours sweeping, tidying and decorating the boathouse and the crowning moment was of course that you also then went out on the water and demonstrated just how good you can be in competition.”
